"Reformulated" seems ominous. Either it's been fixed after some kind of problem, or it's just a word used to justify charging three times more for it.

Stellar, that's quite the cynical view to take. It wouldn't surprise me if you were right, though. Drug companies are known for that kind of thing--so are you cynical or just being realistic?

Senokot is one of the most effective laxatives for the relief of moderate to severe constipation. My dad was prescribed Senokot when he was a cancer patient and his medication caused constipation. Hopefully the new formula will be just as good or better.

Most likely the medication has been altered slightly and revamped by the marketing department as a more efficient drug, but if the older version is still attainable and cheaper why not keep using it.
